The story of Wildfire Coffee
John, a Kamloops-based Initial Attack wildfire fighter, grew a desire to produce the best possible locally roasted coffee in the area. This was easily met with a Darwin-esque urge to not perish while falling burning danger trees. So to pursue a career with fewer widow-makers and more coffee-makers, he hung up his chainsaw after 16 years of working in BC's forests, and opened up a coffee roastery.

Using modern equipment to roast in small batches, Wildfire Coffee is always roasted fresh from the highest quality Arabica beans, and is never warehouse stored.

Wildfire Coffee honours those fighting on the front-lines of wildfires, and contributes to those in need of support from its impacts through the Red Cross and the BC SPCA.
